ANNE LUEBKE grew up in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin (Go Beavers!). She went to public school where she played trumpet, helped manage the track team, and was a part of the Mock Trial team. Anne went to college at UW-Eau Claire and graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. She then moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, and went to graduate school for two years. During this time she married her husband whom she met in Eau Claire, Jeff Kuykendall. Anne left graduate school without earning a degree, and after much job hunting came back to Wisconsin and worked at UW-Madison in a sleep lab for several years. The next job change took her to the UW Hospital where she spent three years in a lab that did sample processing for cancer studies. After that she switched to a core lab at the Gene Expression Center where she assisted other university researchers with their sequencing projects.
In 2016 Anne and her husband Jeff moved to Westport where they found a lovely home in a great school district. They had their son, Victor, shortly after. Anne then started working at Scientific Protein Labs in Waunakee. She is a Senior Quality Control Analyst where she does viral testing.
